Lovely Amphora Works art pottery Jugenstil-Art Nouveau pedestal/footed deep bowl. The textured exterior has is a wonderful combination of matte & glossy glazes - the varying shades of matte blue-green ground add depth to the piece. The relief high points are highlighted with a dusted glossy gold glaze. While the larger central panels have a dusting of brown glossy glaze (giving a bronze effect) in the Gres-Bijou.
The interior is a glossy pearlized off-white/yellow. The glazes are the type used in the Gres-Bijou Series. Marked on the bottom with impressed Crown, Amphora enclosed in a oval, Austria enclosed in a oval, G, 64, 11712.
The piece is in good condition with no notable flaws. 6 tall, 5 1/4 diameter base, 7 1/4 top diameter. Please see photos and ask any questions.
