Hand Painted Signed A. Holmes Mz Austria Coffee Tea Pot, Violets & Gold, 10

This lovely pot bears the white ware mark MZ (Moritz Zdekauer) Austria. Decorated with hand painted violets and green leaves. The handle, the spout and the border are heavily gilded. The work is signed A.

Anna Holmes had a China Decorating Studio. In Chicago from 1915 to 1917. This large piece is approximately 9 1/2. " high with lid and 8 1/2" wide. The flower decoration is still in great.
