Lovely Antique Art Nouveau Imperial Amphora Wedding Basket Centerpiece (c. 1910s)
Rare and beautiful antique Art Nouveau very nicely decorated. Reissner & Kessel Amphora Works. Imperial Wedding or Bridals Basket (Pot) with three cherubs (girl and two boys) and rich colorful floral garlands.
It is a very unusual and attractive centerpiece. Basket is in a very good used condition with one professional repair made years ago (head of one of the cherubs was reattached, as it has been captured on many pics), minimal fleas in several places, especially at the pedestal bottom rim, and age appropriate ware some discoloration of the gold plated neck of the barrel and garlands of roses, some scratches, stain, etc.

Dimensions: Overall (L x W x H): 16" x 8 1/2" x 10"; base (L x W) = 13 1/2" x 6"; pot: 7" x 7 1/4" (opening) and H(with base) = 8". Basket is marked: "Amphora", "Imperial Crown", "1385", "3", "A" (blue)and some other potter marks which could be unclear "Austria" mark.
