1900 Austrian Art Nouveau Glass Dressing Table Scent Perfume Bottle, Silver Top

An elegant Art Nouveau bulb shape crystal scent bottle, with a heavy 800 silver pull off top - the latter repoussé decorated with two stylised flower heads - glass stopper, and silver neck mount. The glass body is embellished with swirling lines, the under-base with a sixteen point star.

Condition: damage to the glass neck wall (see image), obviously not visible when the top and stopper are in place, condition is reflected in the price; light surface wear; nothing further found; top sits securely on the neck. Circa 1900, silver hallmarked with a Diana head with letter "A" for Vienna, additional makers mark "L&C".
