Presented is an antique, Austrian 800 purity silver serving tray or platter made during the late 1800s or early 1900s. This Art Nouveau piece is raised on 4 decorative feet ant the large rim around the tray is beautifully decorated with sinuous hibiscus flower, leaves and scrolling designs. This piece has never been monogrammed. This would be a wonderful tray for a demitasse tea set, or just to serve whatever you please! The underside is marked with the Austrian 800 purity Minerva head mark used between 1872 and 1922.
This piece is in great overall condition with only minimal surface wear. The tray measures 10 1/4 by 15 1/2 inches and is 2 1/4 inches tall. The usable, flat surface of the tray measures 5 1/2 by 11 1/8 inches.
