Antique Art Nouveau Deco Peter Tereszczuk Austrian 1895-1925 Bronze Table Lamp

Base Measures 10 1/4" tall by 6" wide. Shade Measures 10" by 4", collar is 6. Very nice condition, but the light socket itself needs updating. See the pic of the bulb and socket. Great decorative and collectible piece.

Peter Tereszczuk was an Austrian-Ukrainian sculptor known for his bronze Art Nouveau figurines. His sculptures of boys and girls, often made to be paperweights, were finished with ivory-inset faces. Born in 1875 in Wybudow, Ukraine, he studied wood carving at the school of Arts and Crafts in Vienna under Hermann Klotz. Those who are, are still welcome just contact me first.
