Antique Austrian 14 Hand Painted Porcelain Swan Buttress Form Vase circa 1910. Fine antique early 20th century hand painted tall square-sided swan vase of an elegant ovoid modern form with four'flying buttress' handles. Partial Imperial Austrian mark on the base The base isn't perfectly smooth so the mark only half adhered. But I recognize it from Pickard vases of the the same shape from the period. Four hand painted swan panels, surrounded by heavy gilding on a light green background.
No signature unless there is a hidden "Nagi" signature in the foliage? I suspect one of the Pickard artists did this in their own studio; it is of their style. The vase is 14 inches tall, 6 inches wide across the body. A few tiny ash spots from the kiln. There is one tiny paint loss near the base of one painted reserve, as shown in closeup.
