Striking piece of Austrian porcelain, from the Amphora manufacture, which follows the orientalist Art-Nouveau style of the late nineteenth century, popularized by Bergman and other sculptors. It depicts a Bedouin on his camel apparently in battle. This type of sculpture, due to its popularity, was later recreated by other manufacturers, such as Royal Dux. About 18.5 inches high x 12 inches wide. In very good antique condition, no relevant issues detected.
