Antique Austrian F. Bergman Cold Painted Bronze Figural table Lamp Arabian Tent
Beautiful antique cold painted figural bronze lamp modelled as an Arabian Tent with a single electric nozzle fitted to the top of the tent. This lamp is an example of a very popular production in Austria at the beginning of the 20th century, when Franz Bergman opened a foundry in Vienna. This lamp dated to around 1900'.
The piece is beautifully cold painted over a bronze base, details are wonderful. Lamp measures approximately 13.5 inches (34 cm) tall, 8 inches wide x 8 inches deep (20 cm x 20 cm) at the base. Lamp has been tested and works. We would advise new owner to properly inspect wiring and socket for safety prior to using lamp. It is in very good condition with surface wear and small bits of paint loss appropriate for its age are present. Original patina has not been cleaned.
