Antique Austrian Silver Enamel This Be Your Lucky Star Charm Pendant. This is an unusual antique Art Nouveau Austrian lucky star charm enameled in red and blue.

It is uncommon to find this charm with these enameled colors, and gold-washed. The charm reads "Er sei dein glücksstern, " which translates to He is (this be) your lucky star. The charm dates from the early 1900's and is in very good condition, with minimal wear.

The reverse is engraved Hl Berg. " I assume this stands for "Heidelberg. The enameled colors are rich and vibrant. The red enamel is actually a bit brighter than shown, and the blue enamel is a bit darker than pictured.

The star is engraved with tiny lines to give the illusion of a 3-D shape. The measurement is 3/4" by 15/16". A lovely piece for an antique collection of lucky charms.
