Just one of inkFrog's. Antique Austrian Silver Movable Clover Rebus Charm Enamel Be Good to My Heart. This is an outstanding antique Austrian charm depicting an enameled lucky clover. A lever to the reverse of the charm moves an interior disc that reveals a rebus message: "Sei mir gut mein" which when read with the enameled red heart translates to Be good to my heart. There is a green cabochon to the center of the charm.

The stone looks to be made of glass. It appears to have a small chip, although it is impossible to see without magnification. Otherwise, the charm is in excellent condition.

The suspension loop is stamped with an Austrian import mark which denotes at least. Note the lovely engraved detail around the border. The measurement is 7/8" by 1" including the suspension loop. The weight is 5 grams. The reverse bears the engraved date 28 Mai (May) 1898.
