Antique Signed GAS Austrian 900 Silver & Enamel Cigarette Case Scheid Lady SL

Offered here for your consideration is a fine Austrian silver and enamel cigarette or cheroot case. With an enameled 3/4 profile picture of a beautiful woman. She's dressed in a yellow Art Nouveau dress and wrapped in a red cape. The push button closure is still functional and the interior has a traces of a gold wash.

Made by the Austrian Art-Nouveau silversmith Georg Adam Scheid from Vienna, Austria. Late 19th or Early 20th Century. It is in overall good, as-pictured, used estate condition with some very fine & light surface scratches and other signs of expected light wear consistent with age. There is a slight bend to the interior loops for the rubber straps that hold the cigarettes in. Struck twice faintly to the interior with G. S, with the Austrian Diana's head, 900, and 2 other marks.
