As Is 20 Antique Terracotta Bust Girl with Veil Crucifix Austrian Johann Maresch

For your consideration, a charming antique painted terracotta bust of a young girl ready for church wearing her lace veil, scarf, and crucifix, circa late 19th century Austria. The piece is marked with a number at the back towards the base but is otherwise unsigned, though I suspect it might be by Johann Maresch. The bust is in decent condition with some discoloration, mild chipping, and surface scratching noted in photos. The top of the pin holding the veil in place has broken off but its a relatively clean break and not very noticeable to the untrained eye due to the pattern of the lace veil (see photo 9). Some discolored lacquer is visible on the lace veil as well.

The base is slightly off level, I recommend adding some felted pads. Measures approximately 20 inches in height, 11.5 inches in width, and 10 inches in profile depth.
