1900s Art Nouveau Austrian hand-painted floral gilded enameled on creamy background ceramic vase in amphora style with 2 asymmetric handles. Beautiful bouquet of bright pink flowers with yellow, olive, green & brown leaves. Flowers & leaves are contoured with heavy gilded raised enamel. The vase decorated with popular at that time East Asian patterns (Japanisme art patterns - influence of Japanese art on Western European art).
Decorated with 6 horizontal gilded greyish paint strokes around the vase as well as with 4 relief molded medallions around the neck of the vase. Gold asymmetrical handles & gold flared rim. Impressed numbers 979 (or 626) on the bottom. Size in inches: Height 9.5" x Circumference lower part 16" x Width 5.5" (handle to handle) x Diameter 3.8" bottom.

There are some gold discoloration, one black dot inside the neck on glaze & few small chips on very bottom (see pictures).
