BRONZE BUST SCULPTURE friar monk priest with glasses end 1800 19th Wooden base
Sculpture, small bronze bust, depicting a friar with glasses and skullcap, unsigned work. Resting on a beautiful wooden base, it looks like cherry root, very hard. The sculpture can be dated towards the end of the 1800s or the very first decades of the 1900s.

Beautiful antique patina and old wooden base. The subject seems to recall the friars often proposed in Austrian or German Biedermeier paintings often intent on tasting wine or tinkering with the large barrels in the large cellars under the convents of the late 1800s. PORCELAINS, CERAMICS, TERRACOTTE, BRONZE, PAINTINGS, FURNITURE, GLASS AND MUCH MORE AS, FOR EXAMPLE. My name is Gabriele, an art lover, since I was very young I started collecting paintings, porcelain, bronzes, glass, ceramics etc.

And over time I gained vast experience and a very refined taste in recognizing beauty and then, little by little, I also transferred it to my son Nicolò. We have chosen to sell online and therefore we have adapted to the prices of the online art market, always trying to offer extremely competitive prices compared to the competition. REMEMBER TO PUT ME IN THE FOLLOWING SELLERS LIST. Double box with a lot of bubble wrap around the object and a lot of soft material in the large cavities on all sides between the two boxes.
