Carl Kauba Art Nouveau Bronze Female Bust Sculpture, Signed, Foundry Mark

Welcome to ANTIQUES & MOORE! The sculpture features a lovely female bust with excellent details in her facial features and low-cut gown.

This nice sculpture is signed on one side C. Kauba with the Kalmar foundry mark at the bottom edge of the plinth. The bronze has nice original patina. Carl Kaube is most widely known for his American Indian bronze sculptures.

Measures 7 3/4" high with the marble base measuring 2" wide and 2 1/4" deep (at base) with a 4 1/4" overall width. This nice bronze bust is in excellent Estate condition with no flaws to the bronze. The rouge marble base has a couple of condition flaws.

There is a chip at the top of base with crack extending to the bottom and a chip to the front right facing corner from normal wear.
