Czechoslovakia/ Austrian Loetz Snake Vase circa 1890-1905
See item condition description and photos as they are an important part of the overall description. It is in excellent condition for the age. This is blown glass and have some little slight imperfections that have been present since manufacture. As mentioned there is a slight rough spot that is possibly a manufacturing defect on the snake. It in no way takes away from this beautiful vase.
Visually this looks near perfect however this is vintage hand blown and there are slight minute bubbles that were made in manufacturing and you should keep this in mind that none of these early Loetz vases are absolutely perfect as far as the manufacturing process makes each one an individual piece of art. This is as nice as you will find.
This vase is approx 7 1/4 to 7 3/8 tall. The top has the ruffle and tops out at different heights.
