Ernst Wahliss Hand Painted Portrait Green Blue & Gold Small Vase Circa 1899-1918

Beautiful porcelain vase in a pale green. Nicely decorated with a hand painted blue portrait with raised white and gilt enamel white roses. The bottom of the vase is blue with clouded gilding.

With gold gilding to the handles and around the rim. Marked on the bottom with a red crown over a shield with E W Vienna inside and Made in Austria underneath. This mark was used by Ernst Wahliss between 1899 and 1918. Also marked on the bottom in red 5800 and 5436.2367.39.

Has some wear to the gilding and a very small flake to the edge of the base, but no additional chips or cracks. Measures approximately 3 3/8 inches wide from handle to handle x 6 3/8 inches tall. This is an antique and may have small in manufacture defects that do not effect the display of the piece.
