Very clean and bright and without inscriptions. Published to accompany an exhibition held in six German cities in 1994-5, this comprehensive volume charts the spectacular achievement of this important, though somewhat overlooked, artist/designer whose work spanned Art Nouveau and into Art Deco.

Particularly renown for his visionary metalwork, this book also covers his designs in other media, including furniture, textiles, interior design, ceramics, lighting and graphics. There is also great biographical detail in this book, with essays focused on various aspects of his life and teaching.
