Pair of large circa 1880 porcelain Art Nouveau VASES, - probably Austrian, - impressed " 1100 " [mold number], - well-shaped and proportioned body and elegant molded neck and graceful handles, - fluted neck with shells and dots in diamonds design, - single rosettes on handle, - floral rosettes surrounding base. Iridescent art surface on pale lavender / rose color, - cream color body, - gilt trim, - hand-decorated wild rose garlands on front with raised gilt trim, - single rose on reverse. 18" tall, 6.75" dia.
Condition - excellent, shows nominal glaze crazing, one hairline shows on inside of base, no chips, cracks or repairs. Contact me for confirmation or additional options.
