Beautiful Teplitz Amphora High Glaze Portrait Vase. This circa 1900 Art Nouveau amphora vase by Riessner, Stellmacher and Kessel is a portrait vase featuring a maiden with long hair adorned with creamy beige and cobalt flowers, outlined in gold gilding. The face is very similar to one on a vase by Nikolaus Kannhauser. Vase measures about 9" tall with a gilt rim (minor wear to gilt), 1.5" diameter rim and a wide 6.5 body. The 3.5" diameter base has the Turn-Teplitz-Bohemia RStK mark and impressed numbers "523" and "12.
